Putzmeister America Introduces the Thom-Katt® TK 30Compact Model Delivers Performance
STURTEVANT, Wis. (August 1, 2006) – Putzmeister America, Inc. introduces its newest addition to the Thom-Katt® line, the TK 30. While streamlined in size, the TK 30 brings the same powerful performance and rugged reliability to a job site as the other members of the Thom-Katt family.
With its 31 cubic yard output and powerful pressures up to 1,150 psi, the TK 30 is ideal for mortar and block fill, masonry grouting, pumping stem walls, and can easily handle shotcrete and general concrete applications. The trailer-mounted concrete pump offers a dual hydraulic circuit, 4-function remote control with a 100 ft. cable (wireless remote is optional), and a reliable highly efficient S-Valve design capable of pumping today’s unique mix designs.
“We’re using reliable Thom-Katt hydraulic components that are also used in the larger Thom-Katt models,” says Dave Rudin, National Sales Manager, Thom-Katt and Mortar Machines. “This is one feature that makes the TK 30 stand out from the competition.”
The TK 30 offers some unique standard features not available on other models in the product range. Outlet end adjustment of the S-Valve provides quicker and easier access when tightening of the S-Valve is required. In addition, the hopper is hinged so that the top half can be easily unbolted to gain access to components in the lower half of the hopper, as well as better access to the dual shift cylinders. A hydraulic remixer and manual outriggers are also offered on the TK 30 as standard equipment.
Other members of the proven-reliable Thom-Katt family include the King-Katt™, Katt-Kreter™, TKB, TKS and VS Series. The TK 30 is currently available for shipment in fall 2006.
