Putzmeister America, Inc.’s Versatile City Pump Offers Customers Endless BenefitsModular flatpack and free flow hydraulics key to model’s unsurpassed performance
STURTEVANT, WI (July 30, 2007) – Putzmeister America’s compact and maneuverable City Pump has the design technologies that continue to make it a hot item for Putzmeister customers. The new City Pump line gives customers a choice of pump cell, convenient accessory storage, a modular design, exclusive free flow hydraulics and much more.
“The City Pump’s modular design and free flow hydraulics make this machine an easy choice for customers who require a mobile, versatile and affordable piece of equipment to get the job done,” says Bill Dwyer, Putzmeister America’s vice president – sales and marketing. “The modular bolt-on flatpack and free flow hydraulic system combine versatility and servicing convenience. The simple design allows for cost-effective, minimally labor intensive pump cell upgrades, repairs or as part of a maintenance program.”
The free flow hydraulics offer smooth and efficient pumping. A closed oil circuit that produces greater output with less energy consumption is featured on the unique hydraulic system, according to Dwyer.
“The reduction of pressure peaks and surges means that a Putzmeister City Pump runs smoother, more efficiently and with less wear to components than competitive models,” notes Dwyer.
The City Pump line features three different models: the CP 1409H, CP 2112L and CP 2116H. Offering the ability to easily maneuver in congested job sites and urban areas, these truck-mounted line pumps are exceptionally mobile and affordable.
Designed for convenience and a streamlined look, the City Pump also offers customers ample accessory storage.
“With the City Pump’s standard side-load deck-mounted pipe racks and newly redesigned fold up side panels, the model has plenty of space and provides a quick, convenient and clean way to store everything that’s required for operation,” says Dwyer. “In addition, the pipe racks accommodate 10' (3m) lengths of pipe.
Other standard features of the City Pump include:
• Large capacity RS 905A hopper
• Variable displacement axial piston pump
• Variable volume (0 to full) pump output
• Hard-chromed material cylinders
• Breakaway rear steps
• Toolboxes and tool tray
