Putzmeister Wall Brackets Eliminate Surging Concrete Forces on Forms Used for High-rise JobsWall bracket works with any self-climbing form system on the market
Specifically designed for use on all freestanding separate placing booms, Putzmeister America's new wall brackets are designed to improve concrete placement when contractors are tackling specialty high-rise projects.
The wall or "L" bracket provides a platform to place up to a 50-foot (15 m) freestanding Putzmeister tower anywhere off the side of a sheer concrete wall. Typical separate placing boom towers are secured to the formwork, where the forms move with the surge of the pumping concrete. However, because the new Putzmeister wall bracket is not anchored to the forming system, booms can pump the concrete without affecting the forms.
There are many advantages to the new system. Contractors will be able to maintain more precisely aligned forms, control tolerances and reduce wear and tear on the forms. These factors deliver significant cost benefits to contractors and achieve a far superior finished product. The wall brackets can be easily lifted by tower crane or raised with the forming system when it is elevated. This makes setup and disassembly quick and easy.
The Putzmeister wall bracket is adjustable to permit different placement distances from the wall. As a result, contractors can use this system with any manufacturer's brand of self-jacking forms on the market.
The "L" bracket is fastened to the wall with retrievable and reusable embeds. This eliminates purchasing new ones for each move.
In addition, the same bracket can be used with all four available Putzmeister separate placing boom models, no matter what the boom weighs. The placing boom models reach from 92 to 105 feet (24 to 32 meters) horizontally. The new Putzmeister wall brackets are also delivered with standard reaction forces and exact bracket dimensions for the contractor.
Several other innovations enhance Putzmeister's separate placing boom products. Putzmeister's separate placing booms do not need counterweights, even when used at 50-foot (15 m) freestanding heights – the highest in the industry.
