Putzmeister Names Dave Adams as President

Putzmeister America's Dave Adams Putzmeister America recently announced that Dave Adams, vice president of engineering and manufacturing, would succeed Terry Smith as company president on April 1, 2000. Discussing the appointment, Adams reiterated Putzmeister's commitment to innovation and delivering the highest quality product in the industry.

Company announces WOC 2000 products at North American dealer meeting

Putzmeister America's annual dealer meeting was highlighted by a tour of the company's newest manufacturing facility, roundtable discussions, year 2000 product line presentation and corporate news – including the announcement of Dave Adams as upcoming president of the North American division.

The presentations were delivered by the company's top executives, including Dr. Hinrich Maehlmann, Putzmeister AG chairman; Terry Smith, Putzmeister America president and CEO; Dave Adams, vice president of manufacturing and engineering; and Tom Teubel, vice president of sales and marketing.

The meeting was capped when Terry Smith confirmed his retirement plans and announced that Dave Adams will succeed him as president on April 1, 2000.

Discussing the appointment, Adams said, "My top priorities will be to continue listening to customers and delivering superior products and services." He added that his goals include boosting Putzmeister dealers' success, continuing the company's tradition of innovation and delivering the highest quality product in the industry. Smith will remain on the Putzmeister Board of Directors and continue working on strategic projects for the Putzmeister Group after the transition.
