Putzmeister Introduces Deck Placer Lineup To North American Market
Putzmeister Introduces Deck Placer Lineup To North American MarketSTURTEVANT, Wis. (June 4, 2004) – Putzmeister America will introduce a new lineup of deck placers to the North American market this summer comprising two models – the RV 10 and RV 12. These units will complement the company’s wide range of trailer- and truck-mounted concrete pumps, separate placing booms and Telebelt ® conveyors.
Deck placers are a cost-effective solution for placing concrete when truck-mounted pumps cannot reach over large surfaces. The devices also are used when operators of separate placing booms confront complicated floor or column work.
The RV 10 and RV 12 deck placers feature a respective boom radius of 32 feet (10m) and 40 feet (12m). Manually operated, the two-section placers can be maneuvered into tight areas with a 360-degree articulating boom. Large areas up to 4,100 square feet (380m 2) can be covered from just one setup location, thereby avoiding the extra labor and hassle of dragging delivery lines across the floor.
Lightweight and with compact dimensions, the deck placers are easy to move among various locations on job sites. Plus, they can be transported quickly to construction sites via truck or trailer.
