Putzmeister Displays Hydraulic Diversion Valve Technology at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2005DVH 5/2 complements 34/38Z Placing System
STURTEVANT, Wis (March 15, 2005) – Showcasing its strengths in placing systems at this year’s CONEXPO-CON/AGG show in Las Vegas March 15-18, Putzmeister will feature its DVH 5/2 hydraulic diversion valve connected to a detach 34/38Z placing boom and BSA 14000 high pressure trailer pump.
Facilitating easy handling of large volumes of concrete on placing boom jobs, diversion valves can be used to switch the flow of concrete between towers or, more commonly, for system blow out. Putzmeister offers three types of valves that work as part of its placing systems: DVH – Hydraulic Diversion Valves, GVH – Hydraulic Shut-Off Valves and SVH – Hydraulic Swivel Valves. Each offers multiple ports and can be mounted vertically or horizontally for optimum flexibility.
The DVH 5/2 shown at CONEXPO-CON/AGG is ideal for use with two or more delivery lines while handling high pressures up to 1885 psi (130 bar) without leaking. Featuring five ports and two positions, it easily adapts to job site conditions. It also enables one pipeline to be cleaned while concrete is still being conveyed through another. The valve measures 55"L x 20"W x 31"H. For more complex jobs, multiple diversion valves can be utilized.
Putzmeister also offers GVH – Hydraulic Shut-Off Valves that are pressure-resistant and absolutely leak-proof at high pressures up to 1233 psi (85 bar). The company’s SVH – Hydraulic Swivel Valves can be used as stop valves or with a diversion function and automatically equalize the height difference between the pump outlet and the pipeline on the ground.
Strong, reliable and durable, Putzmeister valves are part of the company’s full line of proven concrete and material placement technologies.
