STURTEVANT, WI (February 1, 2008) – Putzmeister America, Inc. announces Bill Carbeau as director - special applications business, a newly created department of Putzmeister America. Carbeau’s primary role will include developing new and unique business solutions for material placing applications for Putzmeister America, Inc. and Allentown Shotcrete Technology, Inc. Carbeau has also been named Director for Allentown.
“Bill has consistently demonstrated a talent and dedication for developing new business opportunities for Putzmeister America,” comments Dave Adams, Putzmeister America’s president and CEO and Allentown’s CEO. “With this promotion, we’re challenging Bill to do even more of what he already does.”
The mission of the special applications business is to develop new and unique business solutions for material placing applications. This business has the general responsibility for the applications and continued development of “special equipment”, such as large stationary pumps, placing booms and tunnel and mining equipment.
The specific markets include large commercial construction projects; civil industry projects such as dam construction and tunnels; mining; and industrial applications such as refractory shotcrete.
“Putzmeister America has ambitious goals in 2008 for both Putzmeister America and Allentown,” adds Adams. “Working with Patrick Bridger and the entire Allentown team, Bill will focus on growing the Allentown business as well, which serves mostly new markets for PMA.”
Carbeau has been with Putzmeister America for more than 10 years. His most recent position at Putzmeister America was division manager for the concrete projects division.
