STURTEVANT, Wis. (January 1, 2007) – At Putzmeister’s employee holiday party in December, Nick Pohl was presented with the company’s annual Customer Service award for 2006.

As part of the company’s commitment to service excellence, the award recognizes Putzmeister America personnel for highly exceptional aftermarket customer support. Hired in June 2005, Pohl was selected for his tireless dedication as a field service technician, frequently going out of his way to handle service concerns occurring outside the typical work week schedule. He accomplishes this with expertise, professionalism and a positive attitude that customers appreciate.

“Nick is an ideal recipient for the award, as he diligently works behind the scenes and quietly goes beyond the call of duty without expecting any further recognition,” says Dave Adams, President and CEO of Putzmeister America. “On a moment’s notice, Nick will adjust his schedule and sacrifice his home life to handle urgent field service calls without mention of personal inconveniences involved.”

Adams adds, "Nick’s previous 14 years experience as a boom pump operator, head mechanic and shop manager within the pumping industry certainly have defined his meaning of ‘dedication’ to customer support, which he expertly brings to his customer support role at Putzmeister.”

Based from Kansas, Pohl is one of a growing number of highly qualified Putzmeister field service techs strategically located throughout the nation. In addition, the company is staffed with numerous in-house customer support personnel at its North American headquarters facility in Wisconsin along with its other regional locations in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Santa Fe Springs, California; and Toronto.
