Special Customer Service awards presented at World of Concrete 2005

STURTEVANT, Wis. (January 18, 2005) – At the World of Concrete 2005, Putzmeister West personnel Dan DeFrange and Trino Siordia were duly recognized with special Putzmeister Customer Service awards.

The awards were specifically designed and presented this year to acknowledge outstanding after-market support by Dan and Trino. Their exceptional customer service was especially significant during the company’s various West Coast facility re-locations. This includes the closure of the Gardena plant, the move to a temporary site, and the transition to a new and permanent West Coast customer support facility in Santa Fe Springs, California.

Dave Adams, President and CEO of Putzmeister America said, “When customers go out of their way to inform me about the positive attitude and extraordinary support level provided by personnel like Dan and Trino, I feel it is very important to recognize these efforts. I was proud to have the opportunity to present these specially created awards in front of co-workers and our dealers during the World of Concrete.”

Long-time Putzmeister America employees, Dan joined the company in 1987 and Trino in 1994. Presently, Dan is the Putzmeister West parts manager and Trino holds the position of senior customer support representative. Their experience and dedication combine to provide a responsive resource for parts and service-related requests for the rapidly growing population of Putzmeister customers west of the Mississippi.

Adams added, “We know that several other ‘behind the scenes’ people in both California and Wisconsin are also working diligently to assist customers to a higher level of support than ever before. Based on dealer and customer input, we hope to also recognize their dedication to customer support in the coming year.”
