Putzmeister America Appoints Tom Laverty as Field Service Technician
Putzmeister America Appoints Tom Laverty as Field Service TechnicianTom Laverty recently re-joined Putzmeister America as the company's field service technician for the southwestern part of the United States.
Laverty's background in the service industry is extensive. His past experience includes owning a diesel engine repair shop in Orlando, Fla., for about 10 years. In 1990, he became entrenched in the concrete industry, managing service departments for various concrete pumping companies in Orlando and Chicago prior to joining Putzmeister in 1994 as a field service technician. After seven years with Putzmeister, Laverty left in the spring of 2001 to pursue other opportunities but now returns to again assist in field service responsibilities at Putzmeister.
He will support the company's full line of products, including concrete boom pumps, Telebelt conveyors, Thom-Katts, large line trailer pumps, P30 grout pumps and more. While Laverty will travel wherever a technical support concern arises, he will predominantly concentrate on service-related calls in the Southwest while based from Galveston, Texas.
