Putzmeister 58-Meter Concrete Boom Pump Features Modified Pedestal Design
Putzmeister 58-Meter Concrete Boom Pump Features Modified Pedestal DesignThe Putzmeister 58-Meter truck-mounted concrete boom pump has been modified with a new TRDV 250 pedestal design. The pedestal design is modular for better serviceability, and it allows easier setup and a more simplified operation.
Putzmeister utilized advanced CAD and FEA engineering software to maximize the strength and stability of the unit. As a result, an added feature includes a new optimized outrigger design.
Triple-telescopic front outriggers now stow between the front axles and feature a short slewing cylinder. During setup, this allows the front outriggers to swing out within a tight 45-degree angle and then extend. The space now needed for swinging the front outrigger is one-fourth the area of the previous version; and therefore, the operator can easily set up on very confined job sites.
A narrow 32-foot 2-inch (10.72m) front and 34-foot 3-inch (10.43m) rear footprint enables setup on congested sites. The rear outrigger hinge pins are closer to the center of the boom for the optimum distribution of forces and stress. Plus, extra fuel can be stored in an outrigger leg for longer running times.
A 24-volt system is standard and offers the flexibility of add-on features. Other innovative options are also available.
