New "Gauge Port Central" Offers Added Convenience When Servicing Putzmeister Concrete Boom Pumps

Putzmeister America has designed "Gauge Port Central" (GPC) as an added convenience for easier trouble-shooting and servicing of its core lineup of concrete boom pumps.

New to the pumping industry, Gauge Port Central features all hydraulic gauge ports in one "centralized" location on Putzmeister concrete boom pumps ranging from 24 to 58 meters. Typically, these ports are housed by their applicable function, which means several different areas to access. As a result, service personnel and operators must search and sometimes climb all over a unit to hook up to individualized ports.

Putzmeister's GPC now selectively routes all gauge ports to one ground level location so personnel can perform a multitude of quick trouble-shooting functions from a single spot. Additionally, GPC saves time during routine maintenance checks as one can easily test line pressures or perform a variety of other system checks from one convenient place.

This change becomes standard effective January 2002 with boom pumps featuring our .61H - .20H pump cell. For more information, contact the company toll-free at (800) 884-7210 or (262) 886-3200.
