Arquette Appointed to Oversee New Midwest Repair & Service CenterSTURTEVANT, Wisconsin (May 1, 2005) – With the development of Putzmeister’s Midwest Repair & Service Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Lee Arquette has been hired to manage in-house customer support for a targeted ten-state region.
As the Midwest Repair & Service Center Manager, Lee will be responsible for managing all equipment repair functions associated with the Midwest branch and overseeing its service personnel to ensure prompt and competent customer support. Lee reports directly to Doug Brunet, General Manager of the Milwaukee facility, which handles both the nationwide Pro-Tech pre-owned equipment program and the regional Midwest equipment repairs and service operation.
Lee and his service team will be specifically involved in supporting Putzmeister customers by handling equipment repairs in-house, which includes replacing major wear components and re-splicing conveyor belts. In addition, his team will assist by providing boom inspections and accommodating concrete boom pump, Telebelt® conveyor and trailer pump maintenance requests.
Highly familiar with construction and concrete placing equipment, Lee’s background includes 30 years manufacturing experience at Rotec Industries, starting on the shop floor. His initial roles included welder, fabricator, and hydraulic assembler before assuming overall plant production responsibilities for the past 16 years as shop foreman and then plant manager. In particular, Lee has extensive knowledge about belt conveyors, having helped produce the first unit over 25 years ago before the 1997 Putzmeister acquisition of this product line.
Born and raised in Illinois, Lee and his wife Sue plan to relocate closer to both the main Sturtevant-based Putzmeister manufacturing facility and Milwaukee-based Pro-Tech Pre-Owned & Renewed Equipment Center and Midwest Repair & Service Center in Wisconsin.
